I may end up referring to you for wiring advice if I actually end up getting them. I understand the maintaining the 8 ohms but are you saying wire 3 of them in series and the forth one in parallel and that would give me 16 ohms and then when I wire the two banks together I'd have 8 ohms?
    Some versions of 901 were wired in a 3 x 3 configuration, here's a diagram:

Bose....Bring Other Sound Equipment in Pro audio...

No highs, no lows- must be Bose was used a lot in the home stereo arena.

I miss the days of Hi-Fi stores, they went the way of TV stores a decade earlier....corner store can't fight a big box store.

Interesting thing is, names like Bullfrog, and Hot Spot got plenty of praise using exactly the same drivers that were in the Bose 800 Industrial.

IMO, in their day those 800's were hands down about the best compact PA on a stick you could get. No highs and no lows is true, but they were still pretty coherent for speech, and for their very small size pumped out whalloping SPL's and a single pair could cover a fairly sizable area. One man shows had a great appreciation for them.

Cradeldorf, now that you've had your fun, quit messing around and get some real speakers. Find some M19's close by or better yet, drive out to Oregon and buy RonSSS's A7's and build 4 bucket subs and get a real set of speakers.

Edit; on your way out, stop by and I'll show you my $500 Altec guitar speakers w/ (2) 10" Alpine subs setup that is sounding better with the Moody Blues Albert Hall live concert on CD than their live concert I just went to at the Bismarck Civic Center 100 feet in front of a JBL Line Array.

Throw away is the optimum phrase here. I lost $1100.00 on that mistake.

Chalk it up to the ever increasing cost of education. No doubt, you learned from the experience. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. You gotta pay to play. .................... and all that horse shit.

Sorry buddy. Looking back on some of my own brainstorms, i think you got a bargain.

If it makes you feel any better i can share with you the financial accounting of my marriage/divorce.

Yeah that's how I look at it. Funny thing is I saw so many claiming that the cornscala's were much better than your basic cornwall...that I can't imagine how bad all those people are suffering. They were horrible sounding, nothing like trying to polish a turd.

I ended up with $72,000 in my pocket from my divorce.... you must have done it wrong...
